Jason Gottlieb is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and educator whose practice spans traditional design and illustration to experimental film, motion graphics, AI-assisted creativity, and game development. His work pairs hopeful aesthetics with challenging subjects, using humor to critique systems of power and promote social justice.
As full-time faculty in 足球游戏_中国足彩网¥体育资讯's Graphic Design BFA Program, Gottlieb teaches thesis courses, motion graphics, and various design classes. He previously co-directed 足球游戏_中国足彩网¥体育资讯's Graphic Design MFA program (2015-2020) and has taught at Johns Hopkins' Department of Art as Applied to Medicine and the Corcoran College of Art + Design. His collaborative teaching approach and commitment to supporting diverse learners earned him 足球游戏_中国足彩网¥体育资讯's Trustees Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2023.
Gottlieb's recent work includes Love with Pain: An AI Drag Operetta Against Fascism and SHAME, selected for multiple international film festivals. His client portfolio includes Cooper Hewitt, World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic, Smithsonian, and Hasbro. His work has earned recognition from Communication Arts, Print, AIGA, Graphis, and Adobe.
Gottlieb holds a B.F.A. from the Corcoran College of Art and an M.F.A. from Maryland Institute College of Art.
