A teaching triad is designed to promote reflective teaching and peer support without hierarchy or evaluation.
A Teaching Triad is a group of three faculty members interested in supportive, focused, honest feedback on their classroom practice to inform continuous pedagogical improvement. Faculty members who select into this professional development option find partners—often from different disciplines—who are committed to work together for one or two semesters to investigate a particular aspect of their teaching practice. The structure is collegial and not tied to contract renewal or evaluation, creating a relaxed, open space for pedagogical practice, experimentation, and growth.
