Firmin DeBrabander is a professor of philosophy, specializing in political philosophy. He also teaches courses in Greek ?Philosophy, Aesthetics, Moral Philosophy, the Philosophy of Religion, and the Philosophy of Economics.
Dr. DeBrabander is the author of three books: Life After Privacy, published by Cambridge University Press in 2020; Do Guns Make us Free? (Yale University Press, 2015); and Spinoza and the Stoics (Bloomsbury Press, 2007). He writes social and political commentary for a variety of national publications, including the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun, Salon, The Atlantic and The New Republic.
