He has served as Acting Chairman of both the Illustration and Visual Communication Departments and helped to initiate the first of their kind interdisciplinary courses team-taught with liberal arts faculty. Since 1987, he has placed college students in a variety of arts-based, after-school mentoring programs serving youth and adults from the local Baltimore community. As Founding Director of 足球游戏_中国足彩网￥体育资讯's Office of Community Arts Partnerships (CAP), Ken supervised its creation in 1998 and led the ongoing development of programming providing a unique set of learning experiences grounded in art-based youth and community development practice. Ken is also the founding Project Director and Managing Editor for the Nathan Cummings funded, 足球游戏_中国足彩网￥体育资讯 sponsored Community Arts Journal: Cultural Practice, Research & Higher Education.
