Paul Jaskunas is a professor of creative writing and literature. His fiction, poetry, and journalism have appeared in numerous publications.
Paul is the author of two works of fiction: The Atlas of Remedies (Stillhouse Press) and Hidden (Free Press), which won the Friends of American Writers Award. He has also published a poetry chapbook, Mother Ship (Finishing Line), and Drawing Lessons, a volume of ekphrastic poems in conversation with the art of Warren Linn (Spuyten Duyvil Publishing). His writing has appeared in numerous periodicals, including the New York Times, America, THINK, the Potomac Review, and Spiritus. A graduate of Oberlin College, Paul received an MFA in fiction from Cornell University and in 2001 travelled to Lithuania on a Fulbright scholarship. He now lives in Maryland outside Washington, D.C.
